Pianist Di Wu, a finalist in the 2009 Van Cliburn Competition, will play 10 Pieces From Romeo and Juliet by Sergei Prokofiev and Book I of Claude Debussy's Preludes at 7 p.m. today in Administration Auditorium at Harding University in Searcy. AIDS Awareness
The Arkansas AIDS Foundation will offer "A Night of Awareness," a wine and cheese reception, silent auction and fashion show fundraiser, Saturday at the Argenta Community Theater, 405 Main St., North Little Rock. Doors open at 6.
Guest of honor will be model Mike Beaty, CEO of Model and Talent Expo in Dallas. The fashion show will also feature area designers and boutiques, including S'cie Ward, Faithful Chics Boutique (Crystal Perkins), 22nd Element (Bruce Davis), Tainted Rose (Sammi Bivens), Ivy Rose (Cecelia Rosa), RK Collections Boutique (Jonathan Lawrence) and TCampCollecton (Timothy Camper), and stylists Ricki Cole and Eric Cole.
