Leslie Meagan Steen and Courter Brandes Hall were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, in Perkins Chapel at Southern Methodist University, Dallas. The Rev. Clayton Womack of First United Methodist Church of Garland, Texas, officiated.

Parents of the bride are Kay and Leslie Steen, 2910 Foxcroft Road. Her grandparents are the late Margaret and George Stewart of Gillett and the late Opal and Wallace Steen of Newport.

The groom is the son of Pam and Courter Hall of Garland. He is the grandson of Georgie Brandes of Plano, Texas; the late Buddy Brandes of Plainview, Texas; and the late Bobbie and Ed Hall, also of Garland.

The sanctuary was decorated with white hydrangeas, stock, roses, lisianthus and winter greenery. Music was by vocalist Jennifer Glidden.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fit and flare strapless gown of Parisian lace with a sweetheart neckline. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, garden roses, ranunculus and dusty miller.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Murry Owens of Fayetteville, sister of the bride, and Brooke Steen of Little Rock.

Bridesmaids were Hayley Hangartner of Richardson, Texas, sister of the groom; Alana Morel of Texarkana, Texas; Sarah O'Brien of Austin, Texas; Mary Wolf of Dallas; and Rachel Holburn of Denver. They wore black chiffon strapless gowns and carried bouquets of hydrangeas, roses and evergreens.

The groom's honor attendants were Grayson Cadenhead of Garland and Scott Montgomery of New York. Groomsmen were John Morel of Texarkana, Texas; Jack Allen of Little Rock; Joe Lacy of Dallas; Graydon Rochelle of Fayetteville; and Nick Foster of Atlanta. Guests were seated by Michael Humphries, Nathan Weiler and Zach Cooper, all of Dallas; Steven Swenholt of Austin; and Jeb Steen of Little Rock, brother of the bride.

A reception at 2616 Commerce Event Center in Dallas followed the ceremony. Tables covered in white linens with silver and black accents were centered with candles and arrangements of white flowers. Music was by Memphis Soul Band.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She is a sales assistant for Time Warner Communications.

The groom has bachelor's and master's degrees in agricultural business from the university, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He is a compliance investigator for the USDA.

The couple will make their home in Dallas after a honeymoon in St. Lucia.
