Restriping on the Arkansas 264 bridge over Interstate 49 in Benton County will require lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department announced Monday.
The work will reduce Arkansas 264 eastbound and westbound traffic to one lane in each direction between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Crews will also begin widening the south half of Arkansas 264 overpass bridge, and the work will reduce all traffic on the highway to one lane with flaggers for several hours Wednesday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
When construction is complete, Arkansas 264 traffic on the overpass will remain two 13-feet lanes during the duration of the project.
