Body of missing fisherman found in Lake Conway

Authorities found the body of a missing fisherman in Faulkner County on Monday morning.

Faulkner County Coroner Patrick Moore said his office picked up the body of Wesley Dinwiddie, 65, of Sherwood about 8:30 a.m.

Moore said his body was found near the Pierce Creek landing area on Lake Conway.

Officers searched for Dinwiddie, who went fishing Sunday, and found his boat capsized, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported.

The body will be sent to the state Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, Moore said.

Moore said the cause of death is probably due to drowning, but the body would be sent to the Crime Laboratory "just to be sure."
