Gas-station clerk killed in robbery

Arkansas State Police are searching for three men involved in the shooting death of a clerk at an Arkadelphia gas station Sunday, state police reported.

Christopher D. Brown, 24, of Arkadelphia was killed during a robbery of Jordan's Kwik Stop Shell, 180 Valley St., about 4:45 a.m. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.

Two men entered the store while another waited outside in a gray or green four-door Ford Taurus, state police said. The men had not been identified as of late Sunday.

Police described two of the men as heavy-set black men and the other as a skinny black man armed with a long-barrel revolver.
