I-30 lane closures set for this week

Improvements to Interstate 30 in Little Rock will require lane closures this week, according to the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.

Work to patch I-30 between mile markers 135 and 137 will start Tuesday and end Friday, weather permitting, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department spokesman Jeff Whatley said in a news release.

The work will require one or two lane closings on both the westbound and eastbound sides of I-30, Whatley said.

The westbound lanes will close from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the news release.

The eastbound lanes will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Whatley said.
