UALR's vice chancellor for finance, administration to retire

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock announced Monday that its vice chancellor for finance and administration, Bob Adams, will retire in June.

Adams started at the university in February 2009 after serving for seven years as vice chancellor for business and finance for the Tennessee Board of Regents, one of two systems of public higher education in Tennessee, according to a UALR news release.

He will remain in his position until June 30, but a search for a new vice chancellor will begin immediately, university officials said.

Adams and his wife, Darla, plan to retire to the Chicago area near their son, Jeffrey.
