LR man killed when car hits pickup

A Little Rock man was killed Monday night when his car crossed a highway centerline and collided with a pickup in Carroll County, authorities said.

It happened about 9:20 p.m. as Victor Williams II, 23, was driving a 2007 Toyota Corolla east on U.S. 412 east of Arkansas 103 North in Osage.

Arkansas State Police say the Corolla veered across the centerline in a right-hand curve, colliding with a westbound 2012 Ford F150.

Williams died at the scene. The pickup driver was not injured.

Conditions at the time were said to be clear and dry.

The death was the 26th in a traffic crash in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
