Police arrested Julius Pulliam, 20, on Monday in the stabbing death of Justin Javon Holloway, 19.

Mitchell said police were called Sunday to an apartment at 2416 E. Barton Ave. When officers arrived, they found Holloway in the living room, unresponsive and bleeding.

Holloway died in the apartment, Mitchell said.

Witnesses said they saw Pulliam leave the apartment after an altercation. He was arrested at the Crittenden County Courthouse in Marion on Monday and is awaiting formal charges and a bail hearing set for today, Mitchell said.

The case is the first homicide in the Crittenden County city in 2015, he said.
