Branson airport adds charter flights to 3 new destinations

BRANSON — Branson Airport will begin offering public charter service to New Orleans, Cincinnati and Cancun in early May.

Airport officials announced Wednesday that the flights under the Branson AirExpress name will be operated by Orange Air. The airline will use a 150-seat MD-83 Jet aircraft for the flights.

The routes to New Orleans and Cincinnati start at $99 one way, with Cancun fares beginning at $199.

The Springfield News-Leader reported flights to New Orleans and Cancun will be on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with return service on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Those routes start May 7.

Flights to Cincinnati will be on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with returns flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. They start May 6.
