Two Pine Bluff men were arrested Thursday and charged with capital murder in the Sunday slaying of an Arkadelphia store clerk, Arkansas State Police said.
James L. Gray Jr., 36, and Laron Edward Williams, 27, were arrested Thursday in Pine Bluff. The pair were being held at the Clark County jail in Arkadelphia on Thursday night.
Christopher D. Brown, 24, of Arkadelphia was shot at 4:43 a.m. Sunday while working at Jordan's Kwik Stop Shell at 180 Valley St. in Caddo Valley, state police said.
State police are still searching for a third suspect.
