2 robbed while unloading groceries

Two Little Rock residents were robbed Thursday night after returning home from the grocery store, police say.

Juan Barrera and Teresa Ramirez were unloading groceries outside their home in the 4000 block of Ludwig Street when they noticed a maroon Ford Crown Victoria turning around in a nearby driveway, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

Barrera told officers the car stopped at 44th and Ludwig streets when two black men got out of the vehicle and demanded money, the report states.

Police said Barrera told the robbers he didn't have any money, but a man wearing a white shirt and black pants pointed a silver handgun at him, searched his pockets and took his wallet.

The other man took Ramirez's wallet, according to the police report.

Two other men were listed in the report without a description.

No arrests have been made.
