Man robbed outside his LR home

A Little Rock man was robbed at gunpoint outside his home Thursday evening, police say.

Police responded about 7:53 p.m. to the 7700 block of Morris Drive where Jose Quiroz, 39, told police he was approached by two men while he was entering his home.

One man showed him a small silver revolver while the other demanded his money, according to a Little Rock Police Department report. The men took his wallet, bank card, $100 in cash and a check, the report states.

The men also “forcefully removed the change from his pockets, the watch from his wrist” and a necklace before they left in what Quiroz believed to be a Buick, the report states.

Quiroz was at the Hess gas station at the intersection of Baseline and Chicot roads before he went home, and he believes the men followed him from there to his house.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
