Shakyla Hill was the difference for Little Rock Hall on Friday night at George Cirks Arena.
Hill scored 30 points to lead Hall to a 59-52 victory over Little Rock Parkview. The senior guard scored 18 of her 30 points in the second half.
"She stepped up and played the way I know she knows how to play," Hall Coach Selita Farr said. "We needed this from her tonight."
The Lady Warriors (14-6) moved to 7-0 in the 6A-South, extending their lead over Parkview (8-7, 5-2) to two games.
"It was a big victory," Farr said. "We have a two-game cushion now."
Nakyla Shelton scored 10 points and Terralynn Dominick added nine for Hall.
Natalia Ready led Parkview with 26 points. Jekalen Jones had 11 points.
Hall led 42-40 going into the fourth quarter. Morgan Brady's layup pulled the Lady Patriots to within 53-52 with just over a minute left. But Hill found Erin Carbin for a layup to give Hall a 55-52 lead with 57 seconds left, and after the Lady Patriots missed a field goal, her layup pushed the lead to 57-52.
Parkview led 13-5 at the end of the first quarter. The Patriots extended their lead to 21-12 on Kania Lasker's basket. But the Lady Warriors ended the first half on a 15-6 run, which was capped by Dominick's three-pointer from the left wing as time expired that tied the game at 27-27.
