Police from Christiansburg, Va., contacted Little Rock police Thursday and said that Donald Bruce Quesenberry, 33, had driven Aysia Lewis, 16, to the city in a stolen Nissan Altima, according to a police incident report. Lewis had last been seen Monday at her high school.

Little Rock police found the vehicle about 11:30 p.m. at Shadow Lake apartments, 13111 W. Markham St. The two were in Apartment 19, the home of Adam Scheckler, 34.

Lewis spoke to "someone in Virginia" who gave her instructions to go outside and meet Little Rock police, the report states. She was taken to the Western Arkansas Youth Shelter in Cecil in Franklin County. Police said her parents were traveling from Virginia to take custody of her.

Quesenberry, of Normal, Ill., admitted driving Lewis to Little Rock in the stolen car, police said. He was charged with theft by receiving.

Christiansburg police charged him with endangering a minor. He was being held in the Pulaski County jail late Friday.

No charges were filed against Scheckler.

Hours before his arrest, Quesenberry wrote about Lewis on his Facebook page.

"She's safe, I would never hurt her in any shape form or fashion, I've asked her to go home several times and she wont...," he said.

A man told Quesenberry to turn himself in, writing on Facebook that the situation "won't end well."

"Yeah i know," Quesenberry replied.

Quesenberry later wrote that the incident was "a really poor decision in honoring an owed favor."

Virginia State Police reported that Quesenberry might have been driving Lewis to Florida. Authorities were investigating the nature of their relationship. Further details were unavailable.
