Christopher Baum, president and chief executive of the Reno Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, said the water in Lake Tahoe would cover California to a depth of 15 inches. The depth was incorrect in a New York Times story published in Sunday's Travel section about how the drought is affecting tourist spots in California and neighboring states.
