Benton police said Friday that they have arrested a man suspected in 16 burglaries and other property crimes.
Lonnie Hileman, 47, of Benton was found Thursday at a home on Military Road, arrested and charged with 14 counts of residential burglary; two counts of commercial burglary; eight counts of unlawful transfer of stolen property; and counts of criminal mischief; theft of property and theft of scrap metal, the Benton Police Department said.
Police say they identified the suspect by “diligently conducting follow-up investigations into recent burglaries” and booked him into the Saline County jail.
