$38,000 worth of stolen property recovered in White County

A Judsonia man was arrested Tuesday after White County deputies recovered $38,000 worth of property that had been reported stolen from various law enforcement agencies.

Jackie Foster, 30, was arrested and charged with theft by receiving, White County sheriff's office spokesman Deputy Heather Zomant said in a news release.

White County detectives on Tuesday received a tip regarding stolen property on Edwards Road in Judsonia, Zomant said. A camper trailer, two lawn mowers, utility trailer, Yamaha motor scooter, log splitter, air compressor and other items were found at the location, the release states.

All items had been reported as stolen from several different agencies, including the Searcy Police Department, Beebe Police Department, and White County and Lonoke County sheriff’s offices, Zomant said.

Foster is being held at at the White County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond and has a parole hold, the release states. He’s scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 1.

Deputies say the investigation is still open and more arrests are expected.
