LR police identify victim of shooting

Police on Sunday identified a man shot multiple times in the torso Saturday evening.

Kevin Mills was shot three times in the upper torso about 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the house at 2302 S. Valentine St. in Little Rock, Lt. Steve McClanahan said.

Mills was taken to UAMS Medical Center and is in stable condition, McClanahan said.

Sgt. Cody Miller said there were two witnesses, two suspects and one victim in the house at the time of the shooting. The suspects left the house on foot heading west.

One of the suspects is a black man who has short hair and was wearing a gray T-shirt, police said.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
