Troupe renamed

Elsewhere in entertainment and the arts:

The Rogers Little Theater boards of directors and producers have re-branded the organization for its 30th season, changing the name to the Arkansas Public Theatre at the Victory. It will continue to stage performances at, and use as its headquarters, the Victory Theater, 116 S. Second St., Rogers.

The theater, which started as a community troupe 29 years ago, will produce eight plays and musicals in its 2015-16 season, and discontinue its dinner theater setting, according to production chairman and frequent director Ed McClure.
