Bridge work will require an overnight lane closure Wednesday on Interstate 40 in Conway, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department officials said Tuesday.
Crews will be installing a barrier wall to control traffic during the construction of a Sixth Street overpass east of the I-40 exit 127 at Oak Street, Highway and Transportation Department spokesman Jeff Whatley said in a news release.
The westbound outside lane will close from 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday, weather permitting, Whatley said.
The city of Conway is funding all of the construction project, which is a partnership between the city and the Highway Department, the department said.
