Gunman menaced victim, police say

A Jacksonville man is accused of pointing a silver and black handgun at a man's face and threatening to shoot him for texting his girlfriend, according to an arrest report.

Cameron Gould, 21, drove to a home on Bellevue Circle in Jacksonville on Monday and knocked on the front door, the report said. When a man answered, Gould pointed the gun at his face and threatened to shoot because the man had been texting his girlfriend, according to the report.

Gould was found Tuesday by Jacksonville detectives at a home on Sorrells Drive and arrested without incident. The woman at the home invited the detectives to look for guns. They found two "Mossberg AR style .22 rifles" and one of the guns had the serial number filed off, according to the report.

Gould was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a defaced firearm. He was not listed on the Pulaski County jail roster Tuesday night.
