Beebe woman wins $3 million in lottery

Update:

A Beebe woman claimed a $3 million Mega Millions prize on Wednesday, according to Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials.

Phyllis Roller purchased the winning ticket at the Doublebee's convenience store at 1104 W. Mississippi St. in Beebe.

Roller told lottery officials she plans to donate some of her winnings to her church, share some of the money with her family and use a portion of it to buy more cattle for her farm.

Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials are searching for a $3 million Mega Millions winner who purchased a ticket in Beebe.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Doublebee's convenience store at 1104 W. Mississippi St., lottery officials said. The player who purchased the ticket correctly matched five of the six numbers drawn in the game. The player would have won the $96 million jackpot had he correctly matched all six numbers, officials said.

The Mega Millions numbers drawn Tuesday were 06-15-16-28-49 MB 14 (MP 3). Officials said 6,033 Arkansans won a cash prize in the drawing ranging from $1 to $3 million.
