Oxford American contributing writer and editor Harrison Scott Key will read from his new memoir, The World's Largest Man (about his ambivalent relationships with his father and the South), at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Oxford American Annex, 1300 Main St., Little Rock.

'Folktronica' concert

American "folktronica" musician David Crowder, with "special guests" John Tibbs and Brady Toops, will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center, Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, 1600 S. College St., Mountain Home.

Step and hop

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. will host the PBS International Step Show Competition & Hip Hop Concert, featuring the "Alumni," plus Monie Love, Chubb Rock, Special Ed, Kwame and Dana Dane, at 8 p.m. Friday at the Little Rock Marriott Hotel, West Markham and Louisiana streets, Little Rock.
