$500 reward offered in Conway Chick-fil-A shooting

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the gunman who on Tuesday shot two Chick-fil-A employees during an attempted robbery, police say.

Crime Stoppers of Central Arkansas and the Conway Police Department are partnering to offer the $500 reward, Conway Police Department spokesman LaTresha Woodruff said.

The shooting that left two employees injured occurred about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday in Conway, at the chain's location on Prince Street at Farris Road, just west of Conway High School.

Police describe the shooter as a 5-foot-11 light-skinned black man. The vehicle he fled in looks to be a white, 2009-2013 Mercedes E-class, with plain rims and un-tinted windows, Woodruff said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Central Arkansas Crime Stoppers at (501) 340-8477 or Conway Police at (501) 450-6120. Anonymous tips can be texted to CRIMES (274637) using the keyword Conway.
