Barbara Baxter is serving as interim chancellor of Arkansas State University Mid-South. Debra West will assume the position of chancellor for Mid-South on Aug. 1.

Allen Frazier, associate dean of Harding University’s Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration, was named dean of the college.

Ballet Arkansas has announced the additions of Kirk Bradshaw, Lauren Strother, Mandi John and Viviane Ajarrista to the board of directors. Officers for the season include Dr. Ahmad Brown, president; Charles Moulton, vice president; and Wendy See, secretary.

Hip and knee surgeon Dr. Simon C. Mears as joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and will see patients at the UAMS Orthopaedic Clinic.

Town and Country Animal Hospital announced the addition of veterinarian Dr. Chloe Charlton.

Kari Nikolish, president of Komen Ozark’s board of directors, received the Excellence in Board Leadership award by the Susan G. Komen organization.
