I have developed a deep love for kitchen tongs during the last year or so. They are versatile and oh so handy, whether you are grilling, flipping bacon in the frying pan, picking up cooked spaghetti or turning food in the toaster oven.
My most recent favorites are the colorful DUO Tongs from Ergo Chef (ergochef.com). The “duo” part comes from the two materials used on the tips of the tongs. One side is silicone that’s safe for nonstick pans and heat resistant to 500 degrees. The other is stainless steel with a slot to drain off liquids.
