A minor was involved in a shooting at a Sherwood apartment complex, but authorities won't say whether anyone was injured or if any arrests have been made.
The Sherwood Police Department said in a statement that police are investigating a shooting that occurred about 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Parkcrest Apartment Complex at 100 Manson Road.
The statement said only that a minor was "involved" and that the case was not a homicide.
Asked whether the minor involved was shot, the shooter or both, Lt. Jamie Michaels said she had no information about a suspect or victim. She said she also had no information on whether anyone was injured or to what extent.
A woman who answered the phone at the apartment complex said she could not release any information.
The statement from police said a second incident related to the shooting occurred the same day at the Links Apartment Complex at 3434 E Kiehl Ave. Michaels said that was not a shooting, but she declined to provide additional details about what police believe happened.
