NLR shooting injures 19-year-old

North Little Rock police are investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting that injured one man.

About 5:26 p.m., officers responded to 314 W. 34th St., where they found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, North Little Rock Police Department spokesman Officer Carmen Helton said.

The victim was transported to UAMS Medical Center for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries, Helton said.

Helton said no suspect information is available at this time and the victim’s name has not been released.
