Missing Jonesboro man found in Missouri

Authorities said a Jonesboro man who had been missing nearly a week was found safe in Missouri.

Howard Clark, 63, left his home July 21 without his cellphone and without telling his family, Jonesboro Police Department Public Information Officer Paul Holmes said.

He was found safe late Monday evening by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and was returned to his family, Jonesboro Police Department Sgt. Brad Rossman said in a statement.

Authorities are searching for a Jonesboro man who was last seen Tuesday morning.

Howard Clark, 63, left his home Tuesday without his cellphone and without telling his family, Jonesboro Police Department Public Information Officer Paul Holmes said.

Clark, who has dementia, called his sister in Clara, Miss., before he left his home and told her he was on his way, according to Jonesboro police, but he never arrived.

He was last known to be at 4709 Sams Place in Jonesboro, police said.

Clark is described as a 6-foot white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He weighs about 185 pounds.

He may be driving a white GMC extended cab Sierra with license plate number 569 TZC.
