Remains identified as missing man, 32

The body of a Bryant man missing since July 11 was found Monday in a field near Cabot, according to the Pulaski County sheriff's office.

Bryant police said Ryan Clemmons, 32, was last seen leaving a home in Cabot the night of July 11. His truck was found on Tadpole Road in rural Pulaski County on July 16.

A statement from Bryant police issued soon after Clemmons was reported missing said foul play had not been suspected.

On Monday, 67-year-old Armond Lucas was mowing his backyard at 10700 Peters Road when he saw a decomposing body lying in a nearby field. Deputies arrived about 10:20 a.m. and called crime scene investigators.

The sheriff's office identified the body later Monday as Clemmons.

The cause of death was not determined Monday, and the body was sent to the state medical examiner's office.
