Work at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock will require lane closures today on a section of West Eighth Street, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
A crew using a crane to install new air conditioners on the roof of the hospital will require closing the eastbound lanes between South Battery Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
That portion of West Eighth Street, which runs between the hospital and Interstate 630, is maintained by the Highway Department. The department said traffic on I-630 won't be affected.
