Enrique Iglesias was recovering Sunday after some of his fingers were sliced when he grabbed a drone during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico. A representative for the singer said in a statement that Iglesias was “semi-treated” at the side of the stage to stop the bleeding after the accident Saturday night. He was advised to end the show but went on to perform for 30 minutes. “During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot,” the statement said. “Something went wrong and he had an accident. He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show.” Concertgoers at Plaza de Toros de Playas posted photos on social media of Iglesias, 40, with blood all over his white T-shirt. “He was rushed to the airport where an ambulance met him there. He was then put on a plane to L.A. to see a specialist,” the statement said.

Actor B.J. Novak speaks during a panel discussion at BookCon, Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Jacob K. Javits convention center in New York.

Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak confirmed Saturday that they’re writing a book together. The two were on a panel at BookCon on Saturday at the Javits Center in New York. Novak interviewed Kaling about her forthcoming second book, Why Not Me? The 35-year-olds, who worked together on The Office as writers, producers and supporting cast members, said they just started working on their book project and that it won’t be out for a while. “It’s very early in the creative process,” Novak said. Kaling was more enthusiastic. “It’s going to be awesome,” she said. “We just started working on it. I love working with him … and the ideas that we’ve had so far have been super exciting.” The book will be published by Penguin Random House, and the deal is worth at least $7 million, according to two publishing officials with knowledge of the negotiations. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the contract terms. Kaling said her first book of essays, 2011’s best-selling Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns), was intended to “introduce the world to me.” She wrote it while she was still working on The Office. Her second book, which will be released in September, focuses on her life since then. She describes it as “incredibly honest and vulnerable.” Novak also is a best-selling author. He released a book of short stories and a children’s book last year.
