3 rob man of Lexus at downtown hotel

A man had his car stolen at gunpoint Sunday outside a hotel in downtown Little Rock, police reported.

Markiel Hubbard, 18, of North Little Rock said he'd been at the Residence Inn at 219 River Market Ave. when three men approached about 11 p.m., according to a police report. One of the men held Hubbard at gunpoint while the other two took his wallet, cellphone and keys.

One of the robbers fled in Hubbard's white 1996 Lexus IS 300. The others drove away in a late-model Pontiac car, according to the report.

No injuries were reported.

The robbers were each described as black and about 18 years old. Two stood 6-foot-1 and weighed about 170 pounds. The other is described as 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds.

No arrests had been made Monday.

Police investigate robbery of Subway

Police were investigating an armed robbery of a sandwich shop Sunday in Little Rock.

Officers responded shortly after 6 p.m. to Subway at the Town and Country Shopping Center, 3400 S. University Ave. An employee, Anthony Burnett, 18, said a man had entered the business with a long-barrel revolver and demanded money, according to a police report. The robber placed an unknown amount of cash in a paper bag from McDonald's and fled on foot.

No injuries were reported.

Police searched the area but made no arrests.

The robber is described as black and between the ages of 27 and 32. He wore a Miami Heat hat, a white T-shirt, white tennis shoes and dark-colored pants.

Quick arrest caps car theft, robbery

Jacksonville police arrested a suspect within an hour after a robber stole a car and held a woman at gunpoint Sunday.

Ken Thompson told police he was leaving his home at The Park on Stonewall apartments, 512 Stonewall Drive, when he noticed about 3:30 a.m. that his keys were missing, according to a police report. Thompson looked outside and saw that his vehicle, a black Kia Optima, had been taken from the parking lot.

Police began searching for the car and soon received a report that a woman had been robbed at gunpoint in the area. Sarah Moise told officers that a skinny man had taken her cellphone and bank card and fled in a dark-colored, four-door car, the report states.

Officers found the Optima about 4:09 a.m. parked outside Harvey's Liquor at 7104 John Harden Drive, about 4 miles from where it went missing. Aaron Hadley, 28, was arrested. He had Moise's cellphone and a pistol, police reported.

Hadley was charged with aggravated robbery, possession of a firearm by certain persons and two counts of theft of property. He's been on parole after being convicted of drug-related charges in July 2013, court records show.

Hadley was being held in the Pulaski County jail late Monday.

Masked 3 hold up Exxon, customer

Masked men held three people at gunpoint in a robbery of a Little Rock gas station Sunday, police reported.

Officers responded about 9:30 p.m. to Exxon at 101 N. Van Buren St. Two employees and a customer said three black men had entered the business with handguns and took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a police report. The customer, Domonique Hampton, 47, told police she got down on the floor during the holdup and that the robbers took $20 from her.

No injuries were reported.

Police viewed surveillance footage of the robbery, the report states. The robbers, who each wore light-colored gloves, fled north from the gas station on foot. One of the robbers is described as 6-foot-1 and 150 pounds.

No arrests had been made Monday.

An investigation is ongoing.

3 intruders, 'friend' rob woman in home

A woman returned to her Little Rock home Sunday morning and was robbed by three intruders, according to police.

Tabitha Francis, 38, told police she entered her residence at 10221 Lanehart Road about 9:50 a.m. and found three unknown men in the living room, a police report states. Francis said she'd been letting her "friend," a woman, stay at the residence, and the friend said to give up her belongings or the men would tie her up.

The men took Francis' purse, cellphone and car keys, and Francis ran away. Her friend left the home before police arrived, according to the report. Francis told police she did not know her friend's name.

Officers searched the area but made no arrests.

The men are each described as between the ages of 35 and 38. Two are white and appeared to be 5-foot-9.

Further details were unavailable.

'Empty the register,' station cashier told

Two men wearing bandannas over their faces robbed a Little Rock gas station at gunpoint Friday, according to a police report.

Police responded to Shell, 4100 W. Markham St., about 9:30 p.m. Witnesses told police that one of the robbers pointed a black revolver at the cashier and said, "Empty the register."

The robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. They were last seen walking west on Markham Street.

Police searched the area but didn't find the men. No arrests had been made Monday.

Both robbers were described as black and between the ages of 18 and 22. One was said to be tall and slim and the other shorter, about 5-foot-3, police reported.

In LR, gunman robs workman at home

Two men were held at gunpoint and one was robbed Friday afternoon at a Louisiana Street home, Little Rock police reported.

Ramon Martinez, 38, and Ricardo Amaya, 36, told police they were working at 1221 S. Louisiana St. at 3:30 p.m. when a man approached them and asked for money. He also asked to use one of their cellphones.

Amaya repeated to the man that he didn't have money or a cellphone on him. According to a police report, the man then pulled out a black revolver and pointed it at them.

According to an arrest report, Martinez handed over a cellphone and his wallet, which contained $10 cash and his ID.

The robber ran north on Gaines Street. He was described as black and 5-foot-10, 160 pounds.

No arrests had been made Monday.
