A woman was killed by her boyfriend late Monday in his mother's Little Rock home, authorities said Tuesday.
Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Steven McClanahan said in an email that it happened shortly before midnight at 7825 W. 28th St., which is west of Boyle Park. The home belongs to the mother of the victim's boyfriend, 24-year-old Cory Dewan Brooks, McClanahan said in a separate statement.
The name of the woman who died hasn't been released, and the motive wasn't yet known.
Brooks "walked away from the scene and has not been seen since," and he is wanted on a first-degree murder count, police said. Brooks should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
