TRANSITIONS

Various sources, including Soiree magazine, have confirmed that David's Burgers is, in fact, what's moving into the east end-cap space in the the River Market's Ottenheimer Market Hall, 400 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. Boulevard Bread vacated the space to move into the kiosk previously occupied by the now-defunct Coast Cafe. Soiree also reports that the restaurant will stay open later into the evenings than other Market Hall establishments, possibly as late as 11 p.m. on weekends. No firm date yet for that opening, nor for the opening of a branch under construction in the former National Bank of Arkansas building, 102 Country Club Parkway, just off Maumelle Boulevard, Maumelle. The building will also serve as David's corporate office.

In our "best-laid plans of mice, men and restaurants department," the folks at Fresh: An Urban Eatery, 1706 W. Third St., Little Rock, report via Facebook post that the opening has been delayed awaiting a final building inspection they passed on Monday, so they've turned to Plan B: they expect to be open today and Friday for a soft opening with a partial menu, with a grand opening set for Monday. Initial operating hours will be 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday. The listed phone number is (501) 436-9094.

Owner Stephanos Mylonas tells our colleague, Emily Van Zandt, that construction delays have set back the timeline for an opening of the downtown second location -- in the Sterling Building at Capitol Avenue and Center Street -- of Hillcrest coffee and pastry purveyors Mylo Coffee Co., 2715 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock. He hopes to make an announcement soon with a more definitive word on the future of the establishment. Meanwhile, the spate of rainy weather this spring has chased off the teardrop-shaped silver cart (housing an espresso machine, a small fridge and room for pastries) that Mylonas said he'd be parking out in front of the new space "to test the waters downtown and introduce the neighborhood to [our] coffee." The cart has, however, been showing up Saturdays at the Hillcrest Farmers Market. Mylo's Hillcrest phone number is (501) 747-1880.

Friday was Grampa's Catfish House's last night at 9219 Stagecoach Road, in the Otter Creek area of Little Rock. A manager figures they could be open as early as Friday but more likely Monday in the former Big Mouth Burger space, 5311 Arkansas 5, Bryant. As far as we know, they're keeping the same phone number: (501) 407-0000.

Flyway Brewingannounced via Facebook (facebook.com/flywaybrewingcompany) that it started construction May 27 on its brewery at 314 Maple St. in North Little Rock's Argenta District. Jeff McMullen, manager of brewing and operations (sharing management responsibilities with co-owner Matthew Foster), says that they're hoping to have the tasting room up and running by late summer or early fall. "If everything were to fall perfectly and worked out to be on time, we'll be serving beer in September," he says. In the meantime, they're making beer on a small-batch basis and serving it at area festivals. McMullen says the building is not up to code for making and serving any kind of food, but "we're working on a fun food concept -- I'm not ready to say much about it." And there's now a listed phone number: (501) 350-8868.

And in our mea culpa department, we were working with an outdated menu when putting together our review last week ofHeights Taco & Tamale, 5805 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock, resulting in one incorrect price: The Hard Shell Beef Tacos are actually $10.

The Arkansas Times will Celebrate the Grape, a wine, food and jazz festival, 6-9 p.m. Friday in the Argenta Farmers Market Plaza on Main Street in North Little Rock's Argenta Arts District. Taste more than 300 wines, spread out over five tents, and sample food from eight local restaurants, caterers and other providers: Diamond Bear Brewing's Arkansas Ale House, Arkansas Fresh Bakery, Kent Walker Artisan Cheese, Graffiti's, So Restaurant-Bar, Two Sisters Catering and Whole Hog -- plus chocolates from Cocoa Rouge. The Little Rock Central High School Wing Band Reunion will perform. Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 at the door; proceeds benefit the Argenta Arts District. Visit tinyurl.com/grape2015.
