• Pitcher Hunter Wood (A Rays) will be one of eight Bowling Green, Ky., players representing the Eastern Division in the Midwest League All Star Game on June 22 at Dozer Park in Peoria, Ill. In 12 relief appearances for the Hot Rods through Wednesday, Wood is 0-1 with a 1.36 ERA. He has allowed 5 earned runs over 33 2/3 innings and hitters are batting .123 against him, second-best in the league among relievers. Former Arkansas Razorbacks pitcher Ryne Stanek represented Bowling Green in the league's All Star Game last season.
• Outfielder Collin Radack (high-A Cardinals) was placed on the seven-day disabled list Wednesday with a hamstring injury. Palm Beach media relations assistant Natalie Bohonsky, a gymnast at Arkansas in 2010-2011, said Radack's hamstring tightened in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to Jupiter (high-A Marlins). "He walked off on his own with the trainer by his side," Bohonsky said. "He'll be fine, but his return is to be determined."
• First baseman Logan Uxa (high-A Orioles) was promoted to Frederick, Md., from Class A Delmarva, Md., on Thursday. Radio broadcaster Geoff Arnold said Uxa was called up when first baseman Trey Mancini was called up to Class AA Bowie, Md. Uxa made his debut for Frederick on Thursday, going 0 for 3 with 2 strikeouts.

Two pitchers with Arkansas ties pitched Friday after missing turns in their respective rotations because of games that were rained out. Daniel Wright (AA Reds) allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits over 6 innings at Mobile, Ala. (AA Diamondbacks) but did not factor in the decision. Chris Oliver (A Phillies) also did not factor in the decision against Hickory, N.C. (A Rangers) after allowing 1 earned run on 4 hits over 5 innings. ... Pitcher Jalen Beeks (A Red Sox) has won each of his past three decisions for Greenville, S.C. Beeks allowed 1 earned run on 5 hits over 7 innings in a victory May 30 at Lexington, Ky. (A Royals). Beeks is 5-1 on the season with a 3.31 ERA through Wednesday's games. ... Beeks' teammate and fellow pitcher Michael Gunn suffered his first loss of the season Wednesday at Kannapolis, Md.
