Rademacher added to ASU staff

Autumn Rademacher has joined the Arkansas State women’s basketball program as an assistant coach, the school announced Monday.

Rademacher spent the past seven seasons as head coach at Detroit University, where she went 101-120, was named the Horizon League Coach of the Year in 2010 and reached the WNIT in 2012.

The Titans were 12-18 this season, after which Rademacher contract was not renewed. The Detroit Free-Press reported Rademacher was suspended for five days and one game in January for violating NCAA rules pertaining to countable practice hours.

Previously, Rademacher had served as an assistant at Wisconsin-Green Bay and Western Michigan.

Rademacher takes the place of former ASU assistant Sonja Tate, who became the head coach at Mid-South Community College in West Memphis.

“Her experience as a head coach will also be very beneficial to our program,” ASU Coach Brian Boyer said of Radenmacher. “She has won all throughout her career and I’m excited to have her as a part of our program and to help us build on our recent success.”
