Police: Woman arrested for marijuana edibles

A Fayetteville woman was arrested in a marijuana sting Thursday where police seized more than $20,000 and an assortment of marijuana items including marijuana wax and tetrahydrocannabinol infused edibles and punch.

Shawanda Shante Pam, 32, of 994 Daisy Lane in Fayetteville was arrested Thursday in connection with possession of schedule four edibles with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana wax with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, all felonies.

Police searched Pam's duplex based on a search warrant issued to the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force

During the search detectives found 31 containers of THC edibles, 49 grams of hashish, a .22 semi-automatic pistol and a digital scale.

When Pam arrived at the house later an officer intercepted her. A police dog search of the vehicle she had been in indicated there may be drugs inside. Detectives searched the vehicle and found 88.2 grams of marijuana in nine containers, 67 grams of marijuana wax, two digital scales, a bottle of THC Canna Punch and $20,274.

Pam was released from the Washington County Detention Center Friday on a $2,500 bond.
