Routine inspections on two bridges in Prairie County will require lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Traffic on the White River relief bridge on Arkansas 38 just east of the White River near Des Arc will be limited to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, weather permitting.
Traffic on the Bayou Des Arc on Arkansas 1 north of Des Arc will be limited to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, also weather permitting.
During both inspections, traffic will be controlled using flaggers, cones and warning signs, the department said.
The White River relief bridge, built in 1970, is 450 feet long and 35 feet wide. The Bayou Des Arc bridge, built in 2002, is 505 feet long and 43 feet wide.
