Chenal Country Club was the setting at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 20, for the marriage of Tonya Renee Floyd and Anthony Chambers. Dexter Howard of Restoration Worship Center officiated.

Charlotte and Melvin Floyd, 201 Pebble Beach Drive, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Blanche and Sim Mitchell and the late Eula and Nathaniel Floyd, all of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of the late Carol Lee Mason and the grandson of Robert and the late Izella Noel, all of Little Rock.

The ceremony site was decorated with columns topped with arrangements of red and white roses and hydrangeas. Music was by keyboardist Fanandus Holly, drummer Samuel Smith and vocalists Zetoria Curry, Melanie Dobbins, Darian Dennis and Valerie Foster.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless trumpet-style gown. She carried a bouquet of roses, orchids and peonies.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Tamara Valley of Maumelle, sister of the bride; Dr. Sherri Diamond of Sherwood; and Melanie Hillard of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Sherion Allen and Phlecia Gillespie, both of Little Rock; Dr. Angela Laster of Memphis; Stephanie Spivey of Bella Vista; and Angela Triplett of Grandview, Mo. They wore apple red satin gowns and carried bouquets of white roses.

Flower girls and ring bearers were Sophia Diamond of Sherwood; Gailey Laster of Memphis; Mieyana Murray of Grandview; Ashton Valley and Addison Valley, both of Maumelle; Anthony Chambers Jr. of Little Rock, son of the groom; and Braelyn Floyd of Kennedale, Texas, nephew of the bride.

Best man was Kerry Crawford of Fayetteville. Groomsmen were Keith Jackson, James Rouse and Alen Crook, all of Little Rock; Anthony Floyd of Kennedale, brother of the bride; Reginald Hall of Stuttgart; Robert Wynne of Pine Bluff; and JuJu Harshaw of North Little Rock. Guests were seated by Cedric Jones and Isiah Mason, nephew of the groom, both of Little Rock.

A reception, also at the country club, followed the ceremony.

The bride received a bachelor's degree in political science from Rhodes College in Memphis, where she was a founding member of the Rho Gamma chapter of Delta Sigma Theta. She received a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she was treasurer of the Student Bar Association and vice chairman of the Board of Advocates. She is a lawyer, adjunct law professor for DeVry University and is owner of Tonya Floyd Legal Communications.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he was a fullback for the Arkansas Razorbacks football team. He is a teacher and football coach with the Little Rock School District.

After a wedding trip to New York, the couple will live in Little Rock.
