Antiques Roadshow appraisal event headed to Little Rock in July

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Educational Television Network has said PBS's popular Antiques Roadshow appraisal event is coming to Little Rock next month.

AETN says the program will tape an episode at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock on July 25.

The public TV series features a wide variety of items brought in for professional assessment, including of the market value. Thousands of people appeared for the taping of three one-hour episodes in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday. They are scheduled to air in 2016.

Participants can bring as many as two items, and must bring at least one item. Those who plan to bring a painting for appraisal should be prepared for the possibility of an extra-long wait.
