Eichmann wants to remain on Fayetteville School Board

Justin Eichmann, 41, is running for a second five-year term representing Zone 3 on the Fayetteville School Board.

Zone 3 is made up of neighborhoods on the west side of the School District. The election is Sept. 15.

Eichmann first was elected to the School Board in September 2010. He said he is proud of the achievements of students, teachers and other staff members. He also is proud of the community support for students and for a significant renovation of the Fayetteville High School campus that is nearing completion, he said.

Eichmann wants Fayetteville Public Schools to be a leader in the state, he said.

"Fayetteville Public Schools must be in the financial position to continue to recruit and retain the highest quality teachers and staff in a highly competitive environment, and we must also be ready to exceed the already high standards for achievement that are expected by parents, the community and ourselves," Eichmann said.

Eichmann is an attorney and partner in the Springdale law firm of Harrington, Miller, Kieklak, Eichmann & Brown, P.A. He is married to Sara Barnhart Eichmann and has two children. Justin Eichmann and his wife are lifelong residents of Fayetteville and graduates of Fayetteville High School.
