Man sought in PB gas station robbery

The Pine Bluff Police Department is still seeking a man wanted in an aggravated robbery of a gas station last year.

An employee told officers that a man, identified as James "Husain" Dixson III, 34, entered the Valero Gas Station at 3000 E. Harding Ave. about 1:17 a.m. on Nov. 29, 2014, Pine Bluff Police Department spokesman Richard Wegner said in a news release.

Dixson lifted his shirt, showed the employee a handgun and ordered her not to move as he walked behind the counter and took an unknown amount of items, a Pine Bluff Police Department report states.

Dixson left the store on foot, police said.

The employee said she recognized Dixson as the boyfriend of a former employee, according to the report.

Dixson is described as a 5-foot-9 black man, and was wearing a blue baseball cap, white T-shirt and blue jeans during the robbery.

Anyone with information about Dixson is asked to contact Pine Bluff police at (870) 543-5111 or (870) 730-2090.

Police said Dixson is considered to be armed and dangerous.
