Arkansas' stay at the SEC Tournament in North Little Rock is over.

The Razorbacks lost 58-36 to No. 3 South Carolina on Friday at Verizon Arena. The Gamecocks, which won the SEC regular season championship, advanced to the tournament's semifinal round.

Arkansas (17-13) never led in the game. The Razorbacks made only 11 of their 57 field goal attempts and had 15 shots blocked by the much taller South Carolina lineup.

The Gamecocks led 31-17 at halftime, but Arkansas pulled to within 38-31 midway through the second half.

South Carolina responded with an 8-0 run to put the game away. The Razorbacks failed to make a field goal the final 11 minutes, 15 seconds.

Two-time SEC player of the year Tiffany Mitchell led South Carolina with 12 points. Alaina Coates added 11 points for the Gamecocks (28-2).

After scoring 25 points in a win over Ole Miss on Thursday, Jessica Jackson led Arkansas with 12 points Friday.

The Razorbacks must now wait 10 days to find out their NCAA Tournament fate. Arkansas is considered a bubble team by most analysts.
