A 34-year-old woman pulled into her driveway at 302 Robert Circle at 12:17 a.m. Thursday, according to the news release and email from Derek Hudson, police spokesman. The woman had seen three people trying to conceal themselves, and two men crossed the street when she pulled into her driveway, according to a police report provided by Hudson.

The woman, who is not named, said that when she got out of her car, two men demanded money. One man pulled out a pipe and threatened her, police said. She told them she did not have any money, but they began physically assaulting her, according to the release. She was struck on the nose, Hudson said.

The attack was interrupted by a family member who heard the commotion, the release said. The men fled.

The woman had injuries to her face and was treated at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale, according to the release. No one has been arrested, Hudson said.

The woman described one man as "slim" and wearing all black with a gray bandanna over his face. One person may have been a woman because of long hair, but it was dark, and the woman did not know what the other two people were wearing, Hudson said.

The woman also had seen a red truck in the area that may be linked to the case, Hudson said.
