Pancake Supper

MORRILTON — The United Methodist Men of Morrilton will hold their 22nd annual pancake supper from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Morrilton First United Methodist Church, 201 S. Chestnut St. Donations will be accepted to eat pancakes and sausage. The Rev. Ed Warren said proceeds will benefit the Conway County Care Center, The Safe Place and the Conway County Library. Habitat Home Dedications

MAYFLOWER — Habitat for Humanity of Faulkner County, along with the Interfaith and Partners Disaster Recovery Alliance and the Vilonia Disaster Recovery Alliance, will present two new-home-dedication events. The Mayflower event will be at 11 a.m. today at 1 Fortner Road. The Vilonia event will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at 35 Green Valley Loop. New homeowners’ family and friends, as well as the community, are invited to attend.

St. Vincent Catfish Supper

ST. VINCENT — Knights of Columbus Council 10908 will hold its 22nd annual catfish supper from 5-8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Hall in the St. Vincent community, nine miles north of Morrilton on Arkansas 95. The menu will also include fries, hush puppies, coleslaw and dessert. The cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Children 4 and younger may eat free. Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Banquet

PERRYVILLE — The Perry County Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Banquet will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Perry County Fairgrounds Multipurpose Building, 124 Hickory St. The keynote speaker will be 2nd Congressional District U.S. Rep. French Hill of Little Rock. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for silent-auction bidding, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The event will also include a live auction, door prizes and entertainment. Tickets are $18 per person, $30 per couple or $250 for a table of eight. Arts and Crafts Spring Fling

St. Joseph’s Day Dinner

CENTER RIDGE — The Spring St. Joseph’s Day Dinner will be held from 3:30-8 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in the Catholic Point community. “The Original” Homemade Italian Sausage and Spaghetti Supper is all you can eat, and the cost is $15 for adults and $6 for children. Kids younger than 3 may eat free. To-go plates will be available at 4 p.m. There will be a Kountry Store featuring homemade jams, jellies, breads and sauces, as well as homemade pasta. A Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Chocolate Roll Contest and Festival

MARSHALL — The fourth annual Marshall High School Chocolate Roll Contest and Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include chocolate-roll judging, a chocolate-roll-making workshop, a car show, arts and crafts, a student art show, entertainment and concessions. Activities will begin at 8 a.m. with the MHS Cross Country 5K Chocolate Roll Walk/Run. For a small entry fee, anyone can help judge the World’s Best Chocolate Rolls. Arkansas River Valley Audubon Society Meeting

PETIT JEAN MOUNTAIN — The Arkansas River Valley Audubon Society will meet at 7 p.m. in the Stable Room at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute on Petit Jean Mountain. The program, An Update on the Clean Line Energy Transmission Line Project, will be presented by Gary Moody, public affairs associate. Moody is a native Arkansan with more than a decade of organizing, political and public-policy experience, including two National Issue Advocacy Campaigns. National Nutrition Month Sessions

CONWAY — The Faulkner County Library will celebrate National Nutrition Month with Erick McCarthy, a registered dietitian and nutritionist, from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 2-3 p.m. March 28. McCarthy will present information on the strategies of healthy-menu planning, food shopping, eating out, eating on the run and smart snacking. Maumelle Newcomers Club Scholarship

MAUMELLE — The Maumelle Newcomers Club is again offering a $1,000 scholarship to all eligible residents of Maumelle, as well as immediate family members of Newcomers Club members. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade-point average and cannot be the recipient of a full scholarship. The scholarship is available to those attending a four-year or two-year accredited educational institution or accredited technical college. Graduate and part-time students are also eligible. Applications must be postmarked by April 21 and can be obtained at the Maumelle Public Library or by calling scholarship chairwoman Alice Cleves at (501) 442-3846.

HEBER SPRINGS — The Friends of the Library Book Shop, 2255 Arkansas 25B N., is open from 3:30-7 p.m. Mondays, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. The shop offers a large selection of books at bargain prices. All proceeds from the shop benefit the libraries in Cleburne County.

Cherokee Bingo

CONWAY — Cherokee Bingo begins at 6:15 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Helton’s Wrecker Service/U-Haul, 710 S. Harkrider St. All proceeds will go to the Helton-Osburn-Spencer Scholarship Fund at the University of Central Arkansas.
