LR man charged with raping teen

The Pulaski County sheriff's office Friday arrested a Little Rock man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

Jimmy Cantrell, 24, was charged with rape. A 14-year-old girl told the sheriff's office that Cantrell entered her home in Carlisle and raped her, according to an arrest report. Cantrell admitted to having sex with the girl, the report states.

He was being held at the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Felon forced nude photos, police say

A man who held his girlfriend at gunpoint and forced her to strip naked for photos was arrested Thursday, Little Rock police reported.

Officers responded about 11 a.m. to a home in the 3200 block of Arch Street, where they found Aaron Morrison. His girlfriend had called police to the residence after Morrison, 24, purportedly detained her in the home at gunpoint overnight. Morrison's girlfriend told police that he made her remove clothes and took pictures of her, according to an arrest report.

Police charged Morrison with coercion, false imprisonment and aggravated assault on a family or household member. A felon, he was additionally charged with possession of a firearm by certain persons.

Morrison, who was last known to reside at 5201 Geyer Springs Road, was being held in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $100,000 bail late Friday.

Man, 25, stabbed in head with fork

Little Rock police arrested a man Thursday who admitted to stabbing a man with a fork.

Officers responded about 12:15 p.m. to an apartment at 1600 Elm St., where Joseph Clark was at the front door bleeding from a laceration above his right eye. Clark, 25, told police that Dominique King, 23, had stabbed him in the forehead with a fork, according to a police incident report.

King admitted to stabbing Clark, the report states.

Further details on the attack, and Clark's condition, were unavailable.

King was charged with second-degree domestic battery. He was not listed on the Pulaski County jail roster late Friday.

Police look for 4 in armed robbery

A man walking in southwest Little Rock was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning, police reported.

Officers responded about 12:32 a.m. to Walgreens at 5917 Baseline Road. Darrick Barker, 39, said he'd been walking a few blocks away when an older-model Toyota pulled up and four armed men confronted him. One of the men had a shotgun, while the others had handguns, according to a police incident report.

Barker said the robbers took his bank cards and $350 cash and fled west, according to the report.

No injuries were reported.

Police searched the area but made no arrests.

Student beaten, robbed at school

Little Rock police and the Little Rock School District were investigating after a Hall High School student was beaten and robbed in a restroom at the school.

Officers responded Thursday to the school at 6700 H St., where a 17-year-old student was being treated for injuries to his head. The student told police that two other teens, ages 15 and 17, had pulled him into a restroom, attacked him and taken his gold chain, according to a police incident report.

Police noted in the report that the student, whose name was not released because he is a minor, had bruises on his chest, arms and face. Information on his condition was not released.

No charges had been filed late Friday.
