Kimeka Toya Jacobs and Thomas Dewayne Williams Jr. were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 14, in King Solomon Baptist Church, North Little Rock. Officiating were the Revs. Charles Caradine and Kenneth Martin.

The bride is the daughter of Mary V. Perkins-Jacobs and Lenwood Jacobs Jr., both of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of the late Mary and Tecumseh Perkins of Helena-West Helena and Janie and the late Lenwood Jacobs of Fordyce.

Thomas and Bernadette Williams of Little Rock are the parents of the groom. His grandparents are Connie Montgomery of Little Rock, the late Oscar Levern Montgomery of Woodson, the late Thomas Smith and the late Vinnie Mae Williams, both of Wilmot.

The chancel was decorated with arrangements of purple roses and cream hydrangeas. Nuptial music was by organist Dwione Thomas and vocalist Bethany Hines. Hostesses were Lexie Hubbard, Trinity Thompson and Sidney Terry.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory lace trumpet-style gown embellished with lace appliques. The bodice had a sweetheart neckline and illusion back and the skirt extended to a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of roses in shades of purple and cream.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Bethany Hines of Atlanta and Markeshia Robinson of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Keona Goodwin, Cortney Greer, Michita Merriweather and Camri Williams, cousin of the bride, all of Little Rock; and Victoria Guffin of Memphis, cousin of the bride. They wore strapless gowns of wine chiffon and carried bouquets of purple roses and hydrangeas.

Flower girls were Ni'Yasha Franklin, cousin of the groom, and Kennidi Green, goddaughter of the bride, both of Little Rock. Ring bearer was Aiden Marion of Memphis, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Antonio Cooney of Little Rock, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Dominique Williams and Cortez Williams, brothers of the groom; Marvin Williams, cousin of the groom, and Cordell Davis, Eric McDaniel and Chris Young, all of Little Rock. Guests were seated by Chapple Shackelford and Deonta Mitchell, both of Little Rock.

A reception at the Embassy Suites followed the ceremony. Guest tables were centered with arrangements of purple and white hydrangeas and roses. A large mounded arrangement of purple, light pink and white roses centered the buffet table.

The bride has bachelor's and master's degrees in mass communications from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro, where she was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She is a dance teacher at Mabelvale Middle School in the Little Rock School District.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is a human resources generalist at Premier Staffing/Caterpillar.

After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Alexander.
