WEST MOUNTAIN, HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK

Location: Begin at the shelter on West Mountain Summit Drive off West Mountain Drive. Access via Whittington or Prospect avenues.

GPS: 34.512632, -93.058482

Length: There are longer options on West Mountain, but for a nice 2-mile loop on the eastern end, take the West Mountain, Oak and Canyon trails.

Main attractions: Wide, well-used trails, not too steep, with views of Bathhouse Row.

Hazards: Watch for cars when crossing the road.

Dog, bike, tyke friendly? No bikes allowed, but dogs (on a leash) and kiddies (on or off leash) will love it.
